1. The society of Sisters of Maria Auxilium has been doing socio-economic, education and health service especially to slum and rural based people in entire Tamil Nadu and few other states in India. Considering the impacts of the service to most disadvantaged people, the corporate sectors in Tamil Nadu and other states of India came forward to extend their support to strengthen and expand our service to many more people.
In order to reach out more areas as well as expand the services to many more people in India, our Congregation has started Project Development Office at No.226, Madhavaram Milk Colony Road, Thapalpetti, Chennai 600 060 on 14th of November 2024 with the charism of our founder late Rev. Fr. M.C. Antony SDB.

Considering the welfare and safety of the working women from various places of South India, the Congregation has started “SMA Women's Service Home” in SMA Generalate at Madhavaram. The Service Home was opened by Sr. Josephine Selvi SMA, the Superior General of the Congregation and blessed by Rev. Fr. A.M. Jacob, the Secretary “Madras Social Service Society”, Archdiocese of Madras – Mylapore.
About Founder
Fr. M.C. Anthony was born on 15th of November, 1926, atKerala one of
the most beautiful states of Indiain a small island called Alva. He was the sixth son of Mr.
Cherian and Mrs. Theresa. He was baptizedon the seventh day after his birth in St. Dominic's
Church.Domi, Mathew, Annamma, Thandamma and Elizabeth were the elder siblings of M.C. Anthony.
As it happened in the life of St. John Bosco, this loving family was struck by a great
tragedy. M.C. Anthony too lost his father when he was just two years old.

who live with their parents without roof over their heads due to utter poverty and misery.
