History	:	Sagayathottam is a remote village in Tiruvallur district which is 90 kilometers away from Chennai. Most of the folk of this place are farmers, some are herding livestock and some are coolies. This village does not have the basic requirements like education, transport and Health care facility. Kanchipuram is the nearest place where people can satisfy their needs. Our sisters give help in all the social services.Apart from Social Ministry and Farm activities the Mazzerello Home was established to offer Pre-novitiate formation. The location being remote and away from the city nuances is best suited for the spiritual formation of the nuns.
