Rehabilitation of the Orphan and Semi-orphan children is one among the prime activities of our Congregation. We have been doing this activity for more than 30 years through residential and non-residential care. Our mission stations are mostly situated in rural and slum based areas. The slum based mission stations are carrying out its activities in North and East Chennai Metropolitan City.
Due to poverty as well as illegal relationships, many of the parents depart and leave the children in the street. Mostly these children are living in the streets of slums in North Chennai without proper food, shelter and health care. After 10 years of age, the majority of the orphan children become criminals and ultimately land in Juvenile Homes. The semi-orphan children are under the care of either one of the parents or grandparents.
➤ Both the parents passed away due to death
➤ Parents dead during natural calamities
➤ Parents divided and depart by living the children
➤ Children left in the cradle at the Juvenile Homes
➤ Support through congregation
➤ Well-equipped religious institutions
➤ Generous local and overseas donors
In order to extend our service to more people and create a better future, we are planning to strengthen the orphan and semi-orphan ministry to more areas. Hence we humbly request the generous people like your good-self to share with us in a possible way and do the needful. Kindly contact us for the following address:
