Considering the welfare and safety of the working women from various places of South India, the Congregation has started “SMA Women's Service Home” in SMA Generalate at Madhavaram. The Service Home was opened by Sr. Josephine Selvi SMA, the Superior General of the Congregation and blessed by Rev. Fr. A.M. Jacob, the Secretary “Madras Social Service Society”, Archdiocese of Madras – Mylapore. Our congregation has assured the beneficiaries of all the required needs such as a dwelling place, food, better sanitation facilities, communication tools and especially safety. The administration of the SMA Women's Service Home would collect reasonable fees for the service.
