In the of April 2020 SMA in responds to the Covid -19 Pandemic has taken immediate relief measures to the affected people in Arakkonam district a village called Itchiputhur and distributed required food materials for more than 100 poor families who have lost their livelihood during the Lock down. Sr. Josephine Selvi, Superior General of SMA and other sisters distributed the relief materials to the people.
