On 13 May 2026, at the SMA Generalate, Madhavaram, the SMA Congregation joyfully celebrated the Golden Jubilee of its Foundation (1976–2026) and the Birth Centenary of its beloved Founder, Rev. Fr. M. C. Antony, SDB (1926–2026).

The Holy Eucharist was solemnly presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Jeevanandam, Bishop of Kumbakonam, in the presence of Most Rev. Dr. Fulgence Aloysius Tigga, Bishop of Raiganj, Rev. Fr. Don Bosco, SDB, Provincial of INM, Rev. Fr. Doss Kennedy, SDB, Provincial of INT, Rev. Fr. Maria Kanaga SDB, the former Regional Superior of South Asia, Rev. Fr. Harry Immanuel, OMI, Provincial of St. Eugene province of India and more than 110 priests, along with religious, benefactors, friends, and well-wishers.

The celebration featured a grand entrance procession, a prayerful Eucharistic celebration, cultural programmes, and the release of important publications, including the SMA Congregation Documentary, the English biography of the Founder Apostle of the Poor, the Congregation Regulation Book, and the Jubilee Souvenir.

Special felicitation messages were delivered by bishops, Salesian leaders, religious superiors, family members of the Founder, and representatives of the SMA family. The day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a special presentation of Mother Mary statues to all SMA convents.

The twin celebration was a grace-filled occasion of thanksgiving, renewing the Congregation’s commitment to continue the mission and vision of Rev. Fr. M. C. Antony, SDB, with faith, zeal, and love for the poor.
