History	:	St. Joseph’s Convent is started in Kolangai which is located 38 kilometers away from Ernakulam, Kerala. Most population being coolies are educationally and economically backward. And the location is also remote and lack proper transport facilities. Hence the ministry of SMA sisters started their mission to cater spiritual needs and education needs.
